The Shadow Years marking the end of The Times Before. This is the Earth of Darcos. After destroying his twin Aros, Darcos renames the Wolde…Earth. Darcos unleases his wrath by deforesting grand woods to utilize the Mighty River and massing goblin armies. Ash and smoke fills the air during The Shadow Years. His great fortress Tolâ Darcos rises on the mammoth Darcfire’s mountain face. Leaders arise from the races of Aros’ children to challenge Darcos. The map of the Wolde would remain unchanged until Mount Darcfire explodes destroying Darcos.

Wolde Maps: The Middle Times

After Mount Darcfire explodes destroying Darcos leaving a giant pit in the ground named the Mouth of Darcos (Moltah Darcos) and the appearance of the giant stretch of barren lands of sand called the Deseraith, the Years of Plenty begin. The Years of Plenty do not last as Darcos surfaces once again by possessing the wizard Agzônth the Indigo. The following years of conflict and wars marks the beginning of the Indigo Years. The indigo wizard possessed by the spirit of the Lord of Darkness & Shadow wages war upon the hugheman realm of Níhora and elves of Belesdon. Unsuccessfuly the violent wizard attempts erradicating the Enot (tree Imps) against an alliance of the halflings dwelling with the Olton-Dûm forest of Fríen Ford. The great King Ildain of Níhora finally faces Agzônth and the battle leads to both of their demises. Sadly the Indigo Years do not end upon that dreadful day as a goblin servant of Darcos rises to power uniting the numerous and varying goblins within the westerly lands.

As the rise of the goblin king reveals secrets of a treacherous nature a horrible creature from the depths of the underwolde surfaces...a Dracon embodied by the wizard Agzônth. The following miracle saving the Wolde does not occur soon enough to save the goblin king, but finally peace once more settles upon the lands west of the Deseraith. The new years of peace, unity and prosperity become known as the Years of Fellowship. Yet some five years into the overdue peaceful times, a new evil emerges within the easterly lands as a search for a mentoring wizard named Elray begins.
